Beautiful place to be. There is a small per person fee to enter the park [$2.00 per person]. So much to do here. They have a nice huge asphalt parking lot. You can fish off of the old bridge. It's similar to pier fishing. It is a bit of a walk and I would suggest light tackle or a fishing cart. Many people even rig their bikes with gear to help with the load. The fishing can be very rewarding as many spices of fish are often caught here. Also you have the ability to take 4x4 vehicle out along the river and around the point to the ocean side. The entrance is generally pretty soft sugar sand and along the river if it is high tide it is also very soft. They do close off different parts of the park to vehicles during different times of the year for the nesting birds. My favorite thing about this park is the uniqueness. You can watch many spices of birds around the park, there is a horse ranch on the property and the often do horse rides down the beach and of course the great fishing opportunities. Its a beautiful place to go and soak up some sun rays and relax and enjoy some of the east coast beauty!

The beaches are beautiful, clean and not crowded. Be aware of rip tides and beach rules. Don't leave anything on the beach overnight, or it will be thrown away. That's why the beaches are so clean. There are Many public Access points to the beaches. Please read all of the signs before entering Beach area. You can drive on Some of the beaches. Check with Forida State Parks for more information.

Great place to see the stars during the evening. They do allow you to drive your truck/4x4 vehicle through the sand.
