One of the best places to get glasses. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful, and fast. Everything was handled perfectly. Honestly it's rare to find such an amazing and professional staff. I am an extremely satisfied customer and I will most certainly return to this location for my next pair of glasses.

Every time I had an appointment set up i would get called to reschedule because the Doctor wouldn't be in. The first time was understandable but the second time not so much and i was scheduling late appointments due to work. I had to keep calling to check if my contact samples were ordered that took 3 calls to finally get them ordered. Then 2 weeks later no one called to let me know if they were in or not i had to call for them to tell me they were ready for pick up how frustrating. I won't be going to this location again would rather go out of my way to another location. The staff was great but that doesn't really matter if the service is poor need better management.

I had passed this place for years. After reading the reviews I thought that they may have sub-par service. However, I was wrong. The front desk people are very cordial and Amy and Mahagony went out of their way to accommodate my requests. The doctor was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. For my contact lense exam, I was in and out in no time. I was very pleased with the service here.

This place is a nice idea but absolutely everything is missing a chromosome. They have appointments every ten minutes but... it takes an hour after your appointment before you can see someone to pick up your contacts or glasses. They have a nice clean bathroom but... the toilet paper is sitting ON the toilet paper holder like a frat house. They have nice modern textured wall paper like in high end offices but... it's peeling. It's close to takoma park but... nobody that has ever lived in the city limits of takoma park frequents this place. My experience went like this. I went in, waited 20 minutes, saw the doctor, got out and then waited for 65 minutes before I left. In order to even pay and get my trial pairs of contacts I had to see some mysterious cranky woman that doesn't work at the front desk (the receptionist and doctor are sweet). After being really vocal for the last 45 minutes I just walked out to pick my son up from daycare. Since they REFUSE to let you pay at the front desk I didn't even get a chance to get charged for anything. Regardless, I hope they send me an invoice soon so I can pay them and never have to step foot in that pit of ineptitude. I feel sorry for the sad souls that are forced to patronize this business do to unfortunate circumstances. Fyi: if I get to pay over the phone and my contacts get mailed to me I will delete this review. Otherwise it's on to yelp and every other site I can copy and paste this to.

Traveling to Md from Va for the weekend for a basketball tournament, my son needs a pair of contacts because he forgot a spare pair at home! We were really in a bind! I went to America's best to see if BY CHANCE they could access his prescription and I could buy a pair. Thankfully I arrived just after opening time and it wasn't busy. I explained to the person at the desk, he looked up my son's information and they gave me a trial pair at no charge! I was so grateful for their help. I read other reviews online but my experience was really good. The gentleman (I didn't get his name) said it's not always as easy as it was for me, but at Thanks moment, I didn't care. Thanks to the staff for handling my situation professionally and for the trial pair which I was willing to pay for. I was skeptical about using America's Best initially for my son, but this turned out to be a great reason why we should return!
