This banjo museum was really fun to see. I highly recommend walking through it if you have time. With two floors of banjo history this place is the best thing to do if you have a few hours to kill. Once you are done you can go get some food at abuelas. What a great museum!  Each display is a stunning work of art. I lost count of how many times I said, "Wow!"  If you are into music, art, banjo picking, or just looking for something out of the ordinary,  I can't recommend the American Banjo Museum enough. Small museum but very nice from inside with a lot of history to learn , in the end before you leave the gentleman in the front desk will play the banjo for you, I really recommend this place to learn a little bit of American history

Friendly, warm, knowledgeable people on staff this rainy Tuesday. My toddler and I went in on a whim. Impressive collection and exhibits. The banjos are incredible! The intricacies on instruments over 100 years old beyond impressive… we learned a lot and had fun. I want to learn to play now. I recommend you check it out for yourself.

A great place to spend 30 minutes to an hour. The selection of artistic banjos is truly incredible to have all in one place. Wish I could’ve spent more time there. Nice staff, too!  Only $7 for standard adult entry. Less for others

Very very cool place. I may have overlooked Minne Pearl there and I know she played the banjo. My 13 year old son is begging to own one.

Worth the visit even if you've never heard banjo music before. They have put together an easy to follow history of the banjo and the numerous collection of beautifully crafted banjos is superb. Catch them on the weekend and you may catch a live show with price of admission. They have many talented people on staff. It's worth your time if you like learn about history.

I recommend this hidden gem to anyone who loves music and appreciates hand made beauty. I was amazed at how detailed and beautiful the banjos on display were. I had no idea the history behind the banjo, but I do now! They have extensive info and visuals on hand! Even if you have never played a banjo, you will come away with an intense appreciation for the instrument. The staff were wonderful, and one even gave us a live story and performance right infrount of his office. Don't miss out on this place if you are in Oklahoma City!
