They clean your coat, but leave stains on your belt. Then, you ask them to please re-do the belt and they put stain stickers on it and you come back to find the coat had been re-cleaned and the belt is still there with the original stain stickers on it. Then, you just leave the belt and they finally clean the belt. Communication skills "ZERO." The alterations person is wonderful and very nice. There is one girl behind the counter who is intelligent and the rest are completely incompetent. You will be inconvenienced for sure. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and was, at first, happy with them and their prices. The owner, Helen, wanted my business (I dry clean everything I own) and she offered me an automatic 10% discount on all of my orders. Guess what? For all of the inconvenience that I suffered, as well as their incompetence, I should have just paid full price somewhere else. Also, their leather man is no good... He started off being good, but just doesn't care any longer. He took the color out of my Ralph Lauren twill and suede riding pants. I had to pay $25.00 for him to spot clean and its now a white spot on tan twill, right on my thigh. No compensation was offered to me. On another Ralph Lauren sweater jacket, with soft leather front, he initially did a great job, then four months later didn't even try and also put his dirty fingerprint on the collar. I asked several times for the manager to call me about this, but no one ever called. When I came in to speak with the manager, the woman's response was, "You are the only person who complains." That response is unacceptable. They do such poor work (leaving stains on your clothes) that I am certain other people must ask them to re-do such shoddy work. Shame on them. More time went by and I asked if the leather cleaner would remove his dirty finger print at least. I was told that the owner, Helen Ko, would speak with me... However, I needed to come back. I came back this morning and Helen (who speaks very little English) first denied the shoddy work by saying how long they had been working with their leather person. That does not concern me. What concerns me is that he left his dirty finger print on my leather collar. Then Helen became indigent (because I was logical and made sense) and then said that I should pay for his work (even though it was not right) and, if I cold find a better place to remove the spot on the leather, then she would credit me what I paid her. Helen has it all backwards... The leather man should pay to clean the spot or else pay for the cost of the garment. That is fair business practice, nothing else. I have been calling around and I have another place that will clean it. I will pay any cost to have that done and I will post the results. When I think of all the business I gave this dry cleaner, I am amazed at the attitude. Also, I am letting all of my friends know to beware of them. The nature of dry cleaning is to care for a client's clothing, not destroy a client's clothing. Believe me, we can all do better than Helen Ko's American Cleaners. If I could give this business an accurate rating, it would be ZERO.

Overall terrible experience, still ongoing. Took a suit and two shirts for dry cleaning to the Victoria location. Picked up the clothes, white shirt was incorrectly pressed and had stains, grey shirt was incorrectly pressed, suit was OK. Took shirts back to Mesa location, explained situation, they agreed to re-clean and press the shirts for free - I picked up the shirts and there were new stains on the white shirt, grey shirt was OK. They are going to clean that shirt again. Seriously? The only positive comment is that the staff have been friendly but the execution of actual service has been abysmal.

They got all my clothes mixed up w/ someone else's, told me I was to blame, and then only gave me a 30% discount for my troubles. Booo American.

Horrible service, missed delivery date, cloths were not clean, forgot to hem the pants, no explanation, no call, overcharged.
