If I could, I wouldn’t give them any stars. I took my mother here for a cleaning and at first everything appeared good. They took X-rays on her and after that she was immediately placed in a chair for fillings. The Doctor didn’t even take the time to explain what he was doing to her. Now, granted, my mother doesn’t speak very good English so I was there the whole time. The doctor started to drill without even attempting to get her Novocain. After a moment, I realized what was going on, he was doing 3 fillings on her and she was very uncomfortable and in pain. When I asked him why he had not given her anything he said she doesn’t need it. How would he know if he never treated her or even taken a moment to ask her. This is why I don’t outwardly tell people they I’m a dental assistant. I wanted to see how he would perform and act like I didn’t understand dentistry. He had no one in the room to assist him, given that he was doing an amalgam (silver) filling and those are time sensitive. 3 fillings and he was somehow done in 5 minutes. Didn’t even care to adjust her bite. And when she was rinsing I looked at his face and he was annoyed that she was taking a bit to rinse out the metal in her mouth. When I told the manager that he didn’t explain to me what he was doing and I didn’t like his lack of professionalism, she apologized to me and told me he should had discussed with me the procedure, Especially since we were willing to pay out of pocket for the white fillings! His explanation was that the fillings were too big that’s why He did amalgam. I looked at the X-rays and they were small fillings and they could have been regular composites. You see, as someone that works in the healthcare industry, I thought that no matter what the situation is, we have to provide patient care. It doesn’t matter whether you have insurance, don’t know anything about your procedure, or what have you. Every patient is different and should be treat in a sensitive matter. Understanding, especially with dentistry, most of them come into a doctors office afraid and scared, and we have to be sensitive to their needs. I have been angry at my self for putting my loved one in this position. I should have stood up, taken her out of that chair, and walked out. If anyone ever goes to a dental office make sure the Doctor explains the procedure and before they continue with the work you understand everything. If you don’t feel comfortable being there please kindly get up and simply let them know you will be going somewhere else. A dental office should never make you feel uneasy.

this place does not even deserve 1 star.... horrible so unprofessional. Signed in for my son’s appointment had a seat, then 20 minutes later the secretary is like “excuse me who are you” I answered but we were the only people in the waiting room. 5 minutes later she asks “did you fill out a form” ...... Im like “did you give me a form”.... ok so I sit with the form to fill out she calls me again for insurance card and ID, I am not getting up again I will bring it when I bring the form... bring up the form sit back down.... she calls me again we need your ss#.... I said you have my insurance card that is good enough!!!! Finally @ 5:15 we are called in for our 4:30 appointment. My son sits in the exam chair and 2 minutes later the secretary comes to me and says there will be a $70 consultation fee.. Im like you have to be kidding me, I made this appointment 1 month ago gave the girl all my info over the phone, gave my info AGAIN been here for 45 minutes and you now tell me about a fee... I literally had to talk to my inner self to stay calm. I told my son to get up and we walked out! Who pays for a consultation for braces???!!????! Plus place is a little “icky” !!!!

Do I give them 10 stars or 1 star? well depending on how you take this review I will leave it up to you. Came here for a simple cleaning. I dont remember how I ended up in texas though. I had a huge throbbing pain in my anus and toothpaste all over my feet. Stapled to my half torn shirt was a letter that said good luck getting home.
