American Family Care did a great job!  My first time to see another Physician beside my primary.  We'd just arrived to town, our initial phone call was warm, inviting & informative inquiring of their hours of operation, til a surprising 8 pm on Sunday.  Upon arrival, paperwork was administered immediately, they remembered our phone call.  Vital statistics taken by the sweet nurse on staff.   Dr. Hinckley was very kind & attentive.   He has twinkling eyes, if I couldn't look at the ocean this was a nice alternative :  )   The front of desk was very personable and genuine.  I appreciated the follow up phone call the next day inquiring how I was feeling.

We had a great experience at AFC starting with front desk staff, I believe it was Cindy. Sarah RN and Dr. Shelton were awesome. We received an excellent care and we were in and out in less than two hours. I will recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Destin if any medical attention is needed.

American family care is top of the line care any day of the week. I went in over mother’s day with a sore throat and was promptly greeted by Cynthia at the front desk who checked me in in no time. I was taken back by Brian who quickly took my vitals and triaged me into a room. Before I knew it my throat was swabbed for strep and I was given an ibuprofen by Amber for my fever. Dr. Shelton prescribed my medications promptly, explained that she would be sending my test out for culture, and began the process of discharge. While waiting for my perscriptions I was checked on by another nurse named Stephanie just to make sure I was comfortable. I was pleased with how many people I saw and how often I was in checked on. Especially on a holiday. 10/10 would recommend.

I took my son today and was absolutely thrilled with our experience.  The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.  The nurses and doctors were knowledgeable, thorough and kind.  They talked and joked with my son and made us both feel comfortable. We were done less than an hour after arriving.  I recommend American Family Care to anyone who needs to see a doctor in the Destin, FWB area.

Thank you for taking care of my two toddlers when they became sick. We appreciated the quick and caring service. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and really good with children. The staff make sure to calm the nerves for people like us who are traveling and not in our comfort zone.
