I am blessed with hair at age 49 but cursed with difficult cowlicks. Mike always does a great job. I normally had to wait 10 days before my hair was not pointed straight up. I had what we call "angry hair" after each cut. All good now, thanks neighbor.

You have to have an appointment and there are never any available. This place is definitely not aiming for convenience. I did get in there once and truthfully, the haircut was nothing special.

I get my haircut by a fella named Joe and I could not be more pleased at the results. Everybody says hello when you walk in. The owner shakes my hand. Most importantly, the hair cut is on point. You can tell they are not just cutting hair. It's an art form. The time and care they take on their client is apparent in their work. I was going to another barber since I moved to lindenhurst but I stopped going there after the 3rd time they missed entire patches of hair. Not the case at American gentleman. The vibe if the place is great. Awesome music and manly decor. My only gripe is that they took card but it's no big deal. I recommended this place to all my co-workers and I'll recommend it to you.

#1 barber shop by far!! It's a friendly environment and all the barbers are friendly and fun to be around. Very qualified and masters of their craft!!

Great haircuts! Very impressive decor and the staff is very skilled and professional. I even got an espresso a few times. You gotta go.
