This is our second time we have rented from AH4R. Dealing with the Cincinnati office has been great. A huge improvement from our last experience in South Carolina. Jacob has really gotten the maintenance department in order. I've dealt with him 3 times over different issues and it has been taken care of very quickly. He's always courteous and pleasant to talk to. Big thumbs up to the Cincinnati office and especially the maintenance department.

We made a cross country move and everyone was very helpful.  Communication has been great and our maintenance concerns were addressed quickly. They provide convenient online payment options and multiple contacts in case we need anything. Update: On the down side, the properties are "as is". So even if you ask them to clean it before you move in, they won't. They wouldn't clean the house my mom moved into and there was even candy stuck to the floor. Also, their pet fees are outrageously high...$250 per pet and it's non refundable, even if there is no pet damage when you move out.

Jacob Woodward is a fantastic addition to the cincinnati office. the most professional and personable rental companies around. love the way American homes for rent takes care of their tenants. twice in in the last several months , including today they have gone above and beyond to take care of my issues. American homes for rent, has strong , professional values and I'm pleased with the company..

Matt Frawley has always been helpful to us.  We have rented from AH4R for 4 years.  We would recommend AH4R to others looking to rent anywhere they may looking for rentals.

Jacob called today in regards to a maintenance issue that we had previously put through the online process.  He was able to help us with our issue in a matter of hours.  The local people know us and take good care of us.

I rented from AH4R for 2 years, and I was happy most of the time.  Only issues I had were with maintenance, both timeliness and what they actually fixed.  But, when we had our move out walk through, Darren Jacobus was excellent.  He discussed our situation, he was attentive to what I had to say, and he stated that maintenance and landscaping were areas they were trying hard to improve.  I'm happy to say we satisfied all AH4R requirements, and should be getting back our full security deposit.  Darren was a great asset for us, and seems to be working hard to improve bad spots in the company.
