I currently live in an apartment managed by American Leasing.  I have complained several times about the trash around this small complex.  It takes days with reminders to get the mess cleaned up.  I've lived in apartments for years and never have I seen such an uncared for complex.  I'm not certain that I will renew my lease at this point.

Also it takes almost 3 weeks for my rent check to clear my bank.  I will not renew my lease when it expires in several months.

I would never refer anyone to rent from these people.  I also intend to report them to the health deparent because of all the trash constantly around our apartment complex.

My brother and I rented a house for $950 through them, but never again. They do not respond to services requests with any sense of urgency, sometimes not at all. Not only that, but we mistakenly were paying $900 a month for 5 months, and although they had tried to email my brother about the issue (at the wrong address) they never thought to call me over the matter even though I was listed as the co-leaser. I do understand our mistake of not paying the correct amount, but by the time the issue was brought to my attention we had accumulated late fees in the amount of $470. The realtor was anything but willing to work out the mistake with us.

Wish I would have read the reviews before leasing from American Real Estate. The property manager, Robin, is absolutely awful at her job and has zero clue what she is doing. This company refuses to take care of its tenants and refuses to fix anything until you complain several times over several weeks, and only then if you're lucky. Things have been broken since I moved in over 3 months ago. I call, text, email, and even use the online portal they ask you to pay your bill on. But still nothing gets done. Our washer and dryer combo provided with the lease has been broken 5 days shy of a month and no one has done anything about it. When my wife addressed our concerns with Robin in a text, Robin simply replied "ok" because she couldn't care less if her tenants are taken care of. Avoid this company at all cost.

Still waiting for repairs after almost 5 mths...they don't call or alert u. When u do decide to call after weeks of being patient they tell fibs 😑.But the people are kind they just don't take repairs seriously.

HORRIBLE company to lease from. They NEVER fix anything and chance lease agreements secretly after they have been signed. They are so unprofessional I will never use from them again.
