American Space Museum and Walk of Fame

About

A museum rich with space artifacts, stories and equipment, from Mercury through the Shuttle program, as well as a dynamic educational program.

Story

The American Space Museum & Space Walk of Fame is a nonprofit organization located in the heart of America's Gateway to Space, in Titusville, FL.
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military, $5 for students 13-18, and FREE for youth age 12 and under.
The museum is run by professional museum and non-profit officials as well as former space workers, engineers, managers, enthusiasts, and the retired pioneers of space exploration. Our board is populated by individuals -- including astronauts -- who defined America's leadership role in space exploration. When you visit the museum, be prepared to discover artifacts, stories, documents and images from the glory days of space exploration. Our purpose is to preserve space history, highlight the brilliant workforce who makes it all possible, and inspire a new generation of dreamers and doers. We are a singular facility that offers and inspiring and hands on experience.

The museum comprises an indoor facility overflowing with historic artifacts and one-of-a-kind items and a manicured nearby “Space Walk” monument park that features towering monuments honoring the workers and astronauts of the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Shuttle Programs. And be sure to visit our STEAM Shop -- a unique retail space dedicated to science, technology, engineering, art and math. There you will find kits, projects, activities, devices and games suitable for school projects, at-home learning, adult education and just plain fun. Great for birthdays, holidays and more -- and we can special-order almost anything you need!

The American Space Museum is open six days a week. Come visit us to see artifacts and unique items from space history up close and personal, along with docents who worked in the space program and are eager to share their stories!

What an amazing time! Hear from real engineers and others who worked on all aspects of our space program. My 6 year old and 10 year old friend loved it! Get a tour guide, we had Mark, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the history and knowledge this place has. Hands on fun for all ages.
