We went camping up on 602A almost next to Buffalo pass, it was dark and we were trying to find a spot. We passed a couple spots but figured we would go deeper, turned into a baaad idea. We started going over huge rocks, bottomed out, but we didn't get enough power to be able to reverse and there was no were to turn around. Got into town when some nice campers gave us a ride and we started calling tow people, American towing was the only only one willing to drive a tow down those sketchy, rocky, steep trails. Our driver in particular was Frank, and he was sent by God I'm sure. He skillfully winched our little ford escape up the nasty rocks and to flatter ground. Then he helped us bend the piece of metal we had to hook my car by back into shape when the winch bent it out. Then after a couple hours of helping us, he gave us cookies! Truly an amazing polite, patient and thoughtful guy who was a more help than we had ever expected to get. Frank is the best!!

On 7/10 (Sunday AM!) we had a rental car & were in Steamboat Springs. We had a flat tire, called the rental company who gave us this company to call. Frank came out promptly and took excellent care of us in a very timely manner. We would have been stuck driving on a little donut tire all the way back to Denver if it wasn't for Frank. THANK YOU!!

I had my truck towed from Walden to Ft. Collins. I have Chrysler towing and they called this company. They said they would tow me to Laramie but the owner said he would go ahead and take me to Collins. I had a trailer and it was not covered so I said I had a friend that would drive back and get it but he said if I had a hitch they could borrow they would go ahead and take care of it. The lady for Chrysler said that the trailer would not be covered and he told me not to worry about it. He asked for a card number for filing reference and I was told by owner and driver that I would not be charged. After giving number on a zero balance invoice this thieving company lied to me wrote up a different invoice for $885 after being paid almost $400 from Chrysler. When I called telling him this want what we agreed upon and I couldn't afford this he cussed me out told me I had a new truck so I could afford it and if I couldn't to sell the four wheeler in the back of my truck and pay him. Almost $1500 for a tow. This is the most crooked company I have ever seen.

I got my car stuck in an extremely difficult to remove spot. For that, I admit fault. After multiples calls to check on the availability of their assistance (it took multiple calls Because I was told "we will call you right back" and never received that call.) I was attempting to find out how long it would take them to arrive because I had been with the vehicle in subzero temperatures for multiple hours and was trying to decide if it was best to temporarily abandon the vehicle until they were available, or stay with the vehicle. I was told "we don't know how long it will take, we are busy. Somewhere between 1-4 hours." An hour later they showed up, skid steer in tow, ready to remove my vehicle. The operator who removed my vehicle began cursing at me before we even got to the location of my vehicle. He then proceeded to curse at me multiple times. He damaged my vehicle with no apology, and no offer of repair costs. I was then blamed for not following his instructions. I have never been stuck in the snow in my entire life so this was a new experience for me. There were no instructions, just insults and curses directed to me. "Do you know how to F***ing steer" was a nice one. because I was told to keep the wheel straight, and then cursed at for not turning the wheels. My first call to American towing was at 12 noon. It wasn't until 6pm that I was back on the road. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I do not recommend this service to anyone.
