When we got there, the staff was friendly. We got our room and there was no soap, shampoo or anything. Then our door wasn't working. Even if you lock the security lock, anybody could open the door from the outside. We were not gonna leave our daughter there alone. I went down to ask them what we can do about it. The response was very rude. He said that you can take your money and leave or stay with your room and you get no discount. He responded very rude. He doesn't know how to respect customers. Best Value inn should not have that kind of employees. His name was Carlos and he was the night time manager. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Great place for the price. The front desk was very helpful and was easy to talk to. Breakfast was nice but only consisted of muffins, cinnamon rolls, toast, yogurt, and juice. Rooms were comfortable. They could use a better TV that is easier to navigate, but I can't expect more for the price I paid. And bathrooms a big, although they could use a little more cleaning.

Just what we needed for a one night stay. Spacious, King size bed, simple but clean, quick check in and out, complimentary breakfast (coffee, cereal, snacks). Staff was great. Definitely not the most fancy of hotels but certainly worth the price (under $70). Would stay there again.

I wish I had taken pictures. We stayed here for the night, on our drive from San Diego to Dallas. The carpet was coming up. The walls had holes that and been patched and not painted. The bathroom border was coming up. The tub/shower was pretty rusty. The shower head was disgusting. The bathroom sink wouldn't stop dropping. The toilet wouldn't stop running. Even though it came with a mini-fridge, it wasn't cold. The free continental breakfast was toast, cereal and pre-packaged muffins. Along with yogurt and canned juice. But the bed seemed clean. It was pretty comfy. And the staff was nice.
