Stayed for one night. Exterior of the building was clean. Room was clean. Shower was acceptable. Staff were friendly. Air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was okay. Great restaurants close. Shopping close. Linens clean. Rooms recently updated. Great cost.

Decent place for a decent price right in the middle of historical Monroeville where the author of "One flew over the cuckoos nest" grew up....

I stay here a lot for work. Management is cheap on everything. Internet is slow or non-existent. Don't count on there being breakfast in the morning. All of the "non-smoking" rooms smell like smoke. Odd ball things like light fixtures, mini-fridges, or bathroom fans don't work in some of the rooms.

MY SON AND I STAYED AT THIS HOTEL FOR 3 DAYS LAST MONTH AND WERE BITTEN BY SOMETHING IN ROOM 112. WE LEFT EARLY THAT SATURDAY MORNING AS WE HAD A 12 HOUR DRIVE BACK TO MISSOURI. SO I CONTACTED THE HOTEL THE NEXT DAY AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. THEY NEVER CONTACTED BE BACK SO I CONTACTED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM. THEN I CALLED THE HOTEL BACK. THEY THEN CLAIMED THEY CALLED ME AND IT WENT TO VOICEMAIL...I DON'T KNOW IF THEY UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS OF CALLER ID BUT I DO HAVE IT AND THERE WAS NEVER A CALL FROM THEM BECAUSE I WAITED ALL DAY FOR THEM TO RESPOND TO MY CALL. WE WERE BITTEN WHILE STAYING IN THAT ROOM WHETHER IT WAS BED BUGS FLEAS CHIGGERS OR WHATEVER. I THINK MY MONEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN REFUNDED BUT THEY REFUSE TO DO THAT. THEY HAD THE PEST CONTROL OUT TO SPRAY 2 DAYS AFTER I LEFT. SO I CALLED THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. HE WENT OUT TO INSPECT THE ROOM AND SURROUNDING ROOMS AND FOUND NOTHING OR SO HE SAY...BUT THEN IF PEST CONTROL WAS OUT THERE THE DAY BEFORE HE INSPECTED IT ON THAT TUESDAY THEN YOU WOULDN'T FIND ANYTHING GENIUS. SO I CONTACTED THE BBB AND FILED A COMPLAINT AND SO FAR NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. THIS HOTEL REFUSE TO REFUND OUR MONEY. ALL WELL AND GOOD BECAUSE MARK MY WORDS ABVI THERE WILL BE SOMEONE OR SOMETHING DOWN THE ROAD THERE WILL COME ALONG AND COST YOU MORE THAN THE 200 DOLLARS WE PAID YOU TO BE EATEN ALIVE. AND WHEN IT DOES REMEMBER I TOLD YOU SO. I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU A ZERO RATING.
