Dr. Amie started in Ames, IA as a Cyclone at ISU and then attended Dental school at Creighton University. She opened her practice in Ames in 2001 and has been offering general, cosmetic, neuromuscular, and sleep apnea dentistry for over 15 years. Dr. Amie loves having the best technology, and prides herself on her gentle dental care. Dr. Amie provides the best care and uses to best materials for all of her patients. I always have a positive experience when I go to Ames Center for Cosmetic & Family Practice. The dental assistants are always friendly & very efficient & concerned about your comfort. 
Amy Rockow Nelson is also friendly & thorough. Her waiting room & dental rooms are welcoming & cozy looking. Not a scary experience to go to the dentist. Kind of fun!

From the fist phone call to setup an appointment to the follow up after the appointment, the entire staff took such good care of us. The kids really enjoyed their experience and felt proud to be good dental patients based on the encouragement of the staff. The kids have already asked to go back!
