As always my care was exceptional. Everyone there is truly kind and I believe has the patients comfort in mind at all times. When I had children I wanted them not to be afraid of the dentist and see it as a necessary part of good health (I hated the dentist growing up and as an adult let my appointments lack, until I started going to Ames Family Dental, they got me caught up and in good oral standings!). Ames Family Dental is great for children. I took my two year old for a first time visit and it went so smooth, they even answered her million questions about pretty much every tool in the office. She is still talking about the dentist weeks later and my four year old keeps asking when his appointment is.

My daughter, who is away at college, had a dental emergency and needed a repair. We had no connections to anyone in Ames who could recommend a dentist, so she randomly chose Ames Family Dental and navigated her way there. What a lucky choice! She was warmly welcomed, received excellent care from Dr. Good, and the staff helped walk her through the payment process. As a mother, I am so grateful that when she struck out on her own, she found a dental office with staff who were caring and helpful, and who made her visit a pleasant experience. Many thanks to this first-rate team!

Lori is the greatest dental technician I've ever met and I am grateful to have her as my caregiver. Clearly she and Dr. Patten act as a mutually respectful caregiving Team. Dr. Patten is an absolutely modern and first-rate practitioner. Also we talk and laugh a lot. I would never go anywhere else.

Dr. Patten was AMAZING! He was extremely gentle and caring. He made my comfort a priority!! I valued that tremendously because it helped keep my anxiety to a minimum. All the staff were very welcoming and kind as well! A+++
