Have been to this location several times and it's always a pleasure! Every staff member I have come in contact with is always very polite and nice. Even the food is pretty good. Was there last night - Tory and Louie at the snack bar left an impression - went up a couple of times and both times they were smiling, friendly and didn't mind to have a quick conversation while getting my order. One of the times I went up, I was behind two children who were ordering and couldn't decide what they wanted - Tory answered their questions and helped them decide with a smile on her face. In today's times it's a rarity to encounter folks in a customer service capacity that are genuine and pleasant the way these two are. Job well done and will definitely be back.

It was a rainy day, so I decided to take my 4 year old to go bowling. I visited AMF Gastonia Lanes at 3:30 to check it out (Google said they were open at 11, but the sign said 4). One of the employees saw us, and came to let us know that they were still getting everything ready, and they'd be open in a half our. We came back, and staff member had us with shoes, balls, and a lane in less than 5 minutes. He set us up with 2 balls for my son, lane bumpers, and a ramp to launch the ball. It turns out that the main HQ manages their Google information, which is why the info is wrong. That's the only reason I give 4 stars... otherwise, we had a terrific experience. (I am not a regular bowler, so I can't speak to the quality of lanes, balls, etc.)

If you are good at bowling this is not a good place. The lanes are not well taken care of and everything curves too much. If you are just here to enjoy yourself then yes it is a good bowling alley.

It is now permanently closed but oh God we had so much fun here.

Way overpriced. Paid $17 to bowl with my 2 year old who was super excited to knock down pins. I don't see how $17 is feasible for 1 game and 2 pairs of shoes! This place is a rip off. I asked for the rails to be put up. I had to then remind them to come put the rails up. I had to literally go find someone after Being ignored. They aren't very friendly. Being new in town and this one close to my house, I will now gladly travel further to find a better bowling alley!
