Story

Our mission at Anchor is to “Love God, Love my neighbor by being the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus.”

Anchor is a gathering of Christians who desire to love God and serve Him with all our hearts. We are independent from oversight from a denominational headquarters/structure but share a fellowship with other Christian Churches around the world. Our heritage comes from a group of churches known as the Restoration Movement. The goal of the Restoration Movement is to restore the model of New Testament Christianity as found in the Book of Acts.

We are guided by a group of elders who are selected from the congregation. These elders are elected by the congregation because they strive to fulfill the Biblical qualifications set out for elders in the New Testament.

All monies collected in our offerings go to support the ministry of Anchor and several missionaries in various parts of the world.

We are not the only Christians but strive to be Christians only. We do not have all the answers but where the Bible speaks, we speak – where the Bible is silent, we are silent.
