Went with my Dad Tonite at 4 pm hoping to avoid the crowds....it worked!!! We were greeted and got a table right away. Got clam chowder and jalapeno poppers for appetizers, delicious. Dad got baked haddock dinner with 2 sides (9.95!!!) And I got a lobster roll and fries (19.95), both were excellent, couldn't have been fresher! I was thrilled the service was so good! I knew their seafood and prices were great, but in my previous experiences, the service was awful. Now I know..,4pm is the 'sweet spot'!!!

The Anchor has great drinks, great prices, and great food. As a vegetarian I mostly just get pizza, fried apps or their breakfast, but my friends absolutely love the seafood (lobster, fish n chips, clams, etc). I had a custom omelette with two mimosas for under $20 with tip. Awesome place.

Had potato skins ,and tried their pizza was very good ,definitely will go back . They also had seafood and steak on menu will try more next time. Service was friendly and helpful

Awesome food! Burgers to Lobster its all good. Large cheese pizza for the kids is like 6 or 7 $!! Burgers are huge!! Again like 7$! I go there with my wife and 4 year old on a weekday for dinner ( because this is a bar even though it has separated seating it gets pretty packed and loud Thurs-Sun.)
We eat and have a drink and the bill is always under 30$!!

Food is great, portions are huge, price is right.  Highly recommend if you are in the area
