This is one of those magical places where the inside is about 4x larger than it appears from the outside.  If you know what you need, just ask someone that works there to find it for you.  Otherwise, you'll be there all day looking for it - which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  There are things for sale that look like they've been there for 30+ years.  Time warp stuff.  Only downside is the smell when you first walk in, but you get used to it rather quickly.

Anders Hardware did a wonderful job repairing a lamp that was special for us. I always enjoy the service at Anders. You are greeted right away and they always escort you to the items you need. I can’t say enough good things about these folks.

Always a good experience each time I come into this hardware store. Its been around all my life and before me. My dad shopped in this store. The people are good friendly and quick to provide help in finding exactly what you are looking for. 5 stars amd two thumbs up from me.

Best place in town for almost everything, especially those unique or old parts

Amazing customer service! They have everything. Their prices are comparable to the big box stores but they go the extra mile for their customers. Same family, same building since 1909. Anders Hardware is keeping the idea of small family owned business alive.

They have always been very helpful. I called a few weeks ago inquiring about a specific item. They went to check to make sure it was in stock, brought it to the counter for me so it was right there when I walked in, and took it to my car for me as well. I have found that they are much more helpful and knowledgeable than Big Box Hardware Store employees. I have had keys made there, and taken in a broken hinge which they helped me quickly and accurately find a replacement for. A great local business!

A real old time hardware store.  Packed to the rafters with an unbelievable selection.  Great customer service.  You aren't left to search for the items you came for, you will be greeted by one of their knowledgeable employees and shown to what you asked for.  If you don't know what you need, they most likely do. Great time and frustration saver.  Not many of these great stores left.  A real treat.
