My wife and I recently had our townhouse roof re-shingled by Anderson Enhancements of Kingston ON.  We obtained quotes from 4 local roofing contractors before deciding on Anderson. Normally I would be skeptical of the lowest price quote, which his was, however we chose Anderson over the others for a number of reasons. Of the 4, Anderson was the only one who actually went up on to the roof for inspection and measurements before preparing a quote. A detailed quote was prepared and delivered two days after his visit and when requested, a list of references was provided. Throughout the job Anderson proved to be punctual and reliable, keeping us advised of the timeline and progress. I was impressed that he did the job in sections, checking on the weather each day and ensuring that no sections of roof were left un-shingled during inclement weather that occurred part way through the job. After every days work, they cleaned up the work site and secured materials leaving no nails or debris on ours or neighboring properties. As requested, they matched colors with the existing shingles on the remaining portion of roof on adjoining town houses. The finished project was completed professionally and exactly as promised and his work and materials now exceed that of the original builder for our portion of the roof. Being a 4-unit, freehold townhouse, this was not an easy task and ours was the first in this 10 year old complex to be re-shingled. Adjoining units roofs are showing signs that they will soon need attention as well. Hopefully neighboring units roofs will not be neglected until they start leaking and possibly running over into adjacent units. At least we have confidence in knowing that our portion of the roof should be good for many years to come. One of our adjoining neighbors was very impressed with Anderson, the other apparently not, although no concerns were raised with us at any time during or after the work completed. I can only say that we were completely satisfied with Anderson Enhancements work, and would be confident in recommending him to others.

I live in an attached home. My neighbours are currently getting their roof redone and the gentleman doing the job have no respect for the property line or my privacy. I've caught them peeking in the window above my stairwell which is too high up to install a curtain and there are tools and a ladder on my half of the house. I hear loud banging as early as 8 am some mornings; that and the lack of privacy has caused me to start sleeping on the couch downstairs. They've been at this for a week. I do not recommend this company if you wish your renovations to be done respectfully and in a timely manner.
