The knowledge of the staff was unbelievable.  And the store layout, as basis as it initially appears, is well thought out.  The young man who helped us was very informative about all the pieces and the different artist, as well as the historical purpose of the various pottery. For me it was more about the lesson I learned the the purchase. If you want to understand the culture, pottery, artists, and the pieces, come here and learn. This gallery is the keystone to the art world in Santa Fe. It is located near the corner of the main square, and offers an incredible view into the world of pottery, both old and new. They are a major source of the antique, black pottery made famous by Maria Martinez of San Ildefonso Pueblo, and consistently identify, encourage and sponsor new potters with potential.

To walk into the gallery is to find oneself transported into a wonder world of pottery. All major regions are represented, and the sales staff is extremely knowledgeable about the circumstances and history of the various area, such as Mata Ortiz.

Pieces are offered in all price ranges, and one can be assured that whatever may be purchased is significant in the art world, and a genuine product that Andrea Fisher and her son Derek will stand behind.
