The trifecta was enough to feed two people. Seating in the garage was very pleasant. BBQ ribs were very tender. Next time I will get them "dry" because the barbecue sauce that they came with was too spicy for me. The barbecue beans were also too spicy for me. BBQ beef was not worth getting again. The pulled pork was good as was the coleslaw and the cornbread. Cornbread alone is worth coming back for. Features: No staff wore masks.
Hidden gem. I visited here on a whim and found some of my favorite BBQ in the state. The atmosphere is one of the best parts. I love the outdoor seating section. Pulled pork sandwich was great. I ordered one lbs of beef brisket for myself and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend.
The BBQ was great, the service was friendly, but the sides could have been better. We had the "Guy's Trifecta", which was a Half Slab + 2 BBQ meats + 2 sides. The ribs were for me, and 2 BBQ for my wife she chose Turkey "Q" and Pit Beef. I was happy with the Ribs, and my wife was happy with her meats, although they were a pretty small portion, and she would have liked the Turkey sliced instead of pulled. I also got a 10 piece wings, which were very nice, except I had asked for Bleu Cheese Dressing as it shows on our receipt, but got Creamy Ranch instead. We chose Collard Greens and Tater Wedges for our sides. The Collard Greens which came w/ 2 big pieces of boiled potato -- why??? could have been cooked longer and could have been better with some pork bits... this was one of the least favorite I've ever had. The Tater Wedges were very burnt, and *almost* inedible... I would have thrown these out before serving them to anyone. My wife also got a Mac & Cheese 5oz side, and she was happy with it.
So good! Amazing ribs, excellent brisket and pulled pork. The sauces were delicious- especially the “pig water”! The Mac n cheese was fantastic and the cornbread too. What a nice surprise to find this spot on our way to Dutch country. Definitely worth the stop!
My Fiancée, my son and myself went one Saturday, we didn't eat in and that is why I gave it 4 stars. We ordered to go, while we waited we looked around, and used the bathroom. The workers was very friendly and professional. The restaurant has nice photos and it was very clean. The bathroom was clean, everyone seemed nice. When we all was leaving the cashier asked can he give my son a lollipop and my son loved that. We ate once we settled for dinner, and o my the food was so fresh and very delicious. We will be going back.
Amazing ribs! Meaty and a food pull off the bone. Flavor was delicious and the sauce was beautiful. The dry rub ribs were wonderful and I always prefer my ribs with sauce. I would go here all the time if I lived close by.
Best Barbecue that I've ever had in Baltimore County! I was lucky enough Years ago to work for an Employer in Cockeysville Who purchased a BBQ-Truck with two whole roasted pigs on spits delivered for lunch at the end of a long Summer. I can not emphasize the quality of those pigs especially the plain / vinegar pulled pork as I remember that to this Day. I would jump at that opportunity to cater a Birthday or Family member's Event with Andy Nelson's Catering for Anyone on the fence. And regarding any regular Dining: This remains my favorite Restaurant in Baltimore County and would be one where I would eat every single Day if finances allowed that! The Wings are unreal and finish well with the Sweet-Tea and the Collard Greens remain my absolute favorite and never have disappointed especially on cold Winter Nights. Long live Andy Nelson's!
Pulled pork was delicious. Corn bread the best around...none of that dry, tasteless nonsense. Although they don't have a liquor license, a cold beer would have given them 5 stars. Andy Nelson, Jr. was a gracious host. My best to the establishment!
Great country rib shack vibes. These guys have been in business for decades. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great BBQ, brisket, and pit beef. Fantastic sides. Plenty of parking around back.Food: 5/5
The food was on point. Got a pit beef sandwich and it was delicious, the beef was done just right. Sides were awesome as well. My sides were coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, and a piece of apple cake and they were all excellent.Food: 5/5
