My boyfriend and I stumbled on Angel's last night riding home. We had come to Lake Talquin with a group of friends to eat at another establishment, and the service was horrendous. We left, and we are so happy we found Angel's! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The owners were super nice folks. We were made to feel right at home. The food was AMAZING. We had catfish and shrimp, both of which were perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The hush puppies were addictive, as was the seasoned butter they brought out while we waited for our food (which wasn't long at all despite being busy).

We loved this place. We're already planning our next trip back. :-)

Excellent food, very casual atmosphere, good hometown folk. Thanks to Google search to leading us there. Worthwhile 10 minute sojourn east of I-10.

Full menu but love the seafood & all you can eat prices. Best sweet tea you can find. Family owned and operated by Angel & Carlton so you get the best service.

Food was good, but everything that was friend tasted exactly the same, the fries and hush puppies both tasted like fish
