This is one of the best holes in the wall I have ever been to. This place is a must! Food was delicious and had great flavor. It was my first time coming here and I will definitely be coming back for more.
Great Low Key Spot. My fiancé recommended this place to me so I figured I’d give it a shot. This place is small and very low key. The food was really good and prices were very reasonable. When we got there all the seats were full and there was a small wait, which meant it was probably a good spot. Shortly after arriving we were seated. The servers weee very friendly and quick to provide service. The chips were homemade and perfect, consistently cooked but not burnt and not saggy. The salsas were all homemade and very delicious. I tried the red pork tamale and chili verde pork with potatoes, egg and beans. My partner in crime ordered chiliquiles with salsa verde. All of it was very delicious and well worth the wait and drive.
Just had breakfast here, best chilaquiles ever!!! Visited from Portland OR , found this place and glad we did , service was 10/10, place is small but worth the wait !!!! Recommended 100%
It's like eating at home if you grew up eating homemade Mexican food, just like grandma and mom made it. All the ingredients and smells are like my childhood every time I visit. From the welcome greetings the moment you walk in, the small tables just like at your grandma's house to the old fashion displays. Been coming here for over 10 years and it's always a pleasure bringing new friends to enjoy the great delicatessen Angie's has to offer.
The food is always made to order and everything I've ever ordered is delicious. The owners are such very nice people and are so welcoming. Most times you have to wait for a table but it is honestly worth the wait. I have not lived in Norwalk for 24 year's but no matter what city I'm in I continue to make my way back to Angie's. It's a must try.... trust me.
A friend of mine recommended Angie's and she was so right. Really good food in a nice clean little restaurant. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The three of us enjoyed our visit very much. Angie's is now one of my favorite places to eat.
Have to be honest, I used to love coming here for the menudo and it just isn't the same. If I had to compare, it tastes similar to canned menudo...I still enjoy the atmosphere and other dishes like burritos or egg plates. However, they get busy fast and have limited tables so best to come early, and no AC.
They have fantastic quality food at this restaurant. Also great customer service with honesty and very friendly. Me and wife enjoyed this place a lot.Food: 5/5
Well I have been coming here for years since I grew up in Norwalk. This has always been my goto place for breakfast, especially the green chilaquilles. Mmmmm!! Buy then again all the food is tasty here. I still come by at least 1-2 times a week dice I moved to Pico Rivera in 2004. The owners are great!
The BEST, most authentic Mexican food around. It's a tiny little mom&pop shop, very hard to find parking, but SOOO worth it! I would definitely recommend their Machaca plate or their Chile relleno burrito.
