The staff here are wonderful. We have had to take two different cats to emergency here and both times they were wonderful with our animals. Unfortunately we had to put one of the cats to sleep, but they were all very caring and gave us all the time we needed with her to say goodbye. In regards to the pricing, I don't think that it's that bad considering they are an emergency clinic open 24/7. I've had higher bills when taking my cats to the regular clinic.

Very cold and stupid people! My cat was dying, and I and my husband ran in there to save her in the middle of one December night. Unfortunately she died and I cried miserably, but the women at the front desk were laughing and joking around. Do they even have any empathy? Do they even have any respect at all? A week later, we received a letter from this clinic saying they felt sorry for my death!!!! They were supposed to put my cat's name down but instead they put mine!!!! How stupid they are!!!! we contacted the clinic regarding the issue, but they ignored us.-----------THIS IS MY REPLY TO YOUR RESPONSE TO MY COMMENT. WE TOOK OUR CAT TO YOUR HOSPITAL ON DECEMBER 18, 2016 PROBABLY AFTER MID-NIGHT SO YOU COULD HAVE A RECORD AS OF DECEMBER 19, 2016. YOU SENT US A LETTER ABOUT A WEEK LATER, SO I AM PRETTY SURE YOU HAVE A RECORD ABOUT OUR CAT. MOREOVER, WE HAVE A COPY OF THE EMAIL SENT TO YOU IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIVING THE LETTER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE MISTAKE YOU MADE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU IGNORED OUR MESSAGE AT THAT TIME.SO WHY DOES IT MATTER WHETHER WE MADE A REVIEW AT THAT TIME OR NOT?

Yes, it is expensive to go here, it's an emergency room. The emergency consult fee and exam is $140 but it is well worth it. I took my cat there when he was having some issues and they were very good about treating him, diagnosing, and ensuring that nothing was wrong. They laid out my options plainly, gave me choices on what we could do, and before going through with things like sedation the doctor explained what he was doing and what he'd be using. All in all, my cat is healthy and happy again thanks to them and my worries were put to bed, allowing me good peace of mind.

OUTRAGED! My dog was very sick and stay with them and not at my regular veterinarian for twenty four hours in intensive care due to the fact it was a Sunday and a holiday the next day. They suggested he should stay another twenty four hours to which I did not agree because of their exorbitant prices and because I could administer the necessary medication myself! They suggested I should bring my dog for a follow-up to which I told them I would take him to my vet instead, who I respect very much for his experience and the true dedication he has for the animals, not like many vets now a day unfortunately, who are more about the business such as I experienced with this clinic! I talked to my vet thereafter, while reading the file on my dog and made an appointment the following Monday as he was giving signs of recovering very nicely. I called the clinic at the suggestion of my veterinarian to ask them for more antibiotic pills as they were the ones who prescribed them in the first place, and did not give my dog the enough quantity for a regular treatment of at least a one week cycle it takes for antibiotics to work ($1600 was their cost for the least and most basic diagnosis for the one day stay)to make sure my dog had sufficient medication until his next appointment and they refused!!! They wanted me,a retired woman on a budget to pay for another consultation when my dog was just at their clinic knowing well as I informed them on my conversation with my veterinarian and the fact that my dog was doing better and seeing the doctor in three short days..........I could not believe the greed, lack of consideration and compassion on their part and the absurdity in this case in obligating someone like an act of ransom on their dog's health to spend unnecessarily additional funds of their hard earn money! Where is the morality??? Shame on them!

Our dog was acting funny and when we brought him in they were very thorough and caught that a tumor on his spleen that burst was bleeding into his abdomen. They were very very caring and Dr. Sommerfield is an AMAZING Veterinarian who did the surgery and gave us realistic expectations for recovery. Also the staff are incredibly friendly and sensitive to what you need while upset in the with your pet. The blood services are a definite plus because our dog needed more during surgery. Honestly, the prices are high, but for the care and treatment my dog received I'd expect them to be that high, and they had no issue with taking the time explaining each cost and even prorated the last 24 Hr care charge when we picked our dog up early. I wish they took regular patients, but its for emergencies only.
