Story

Dr. Jennifer Jones founded the Animedic Veterinary Clinic in 2013, with the desire to provide compassionate, knowledgeable veterinary care to pets and the people who love them. Dr. Jones is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and has practiced veterinary medicine in the Andorra and Mt. Airy neighborhoods of Philadelphia. Her medical interests are internal medicine, feline medicine, and dentistry. Dr. Jones grew up in central PA, but is proud to call Philadelphia home after more than 21 years in the city.

We are located in a new, state-of-the-art clinic in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia. We offer a broad range of services, including general medical care and vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, in-house blood work, cryosurgery, and basic ultrasound.

We are pleased to announce Dr. Andrew Heller has joined our practice! Dr. Heller's broad range of experience extends from a busy Center City general practice to specialty and emergency training in Bucks County to shelter medicine at the National Greyhound Adoption Program in Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed his clinical studies at The University of Pennsylvania. His special interests in preventative medicine, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery and ophthalmology make him a valuable addition to our general practice. Although originally born in England and having grown up in northern California, he now considers himself a true Philadelphian, residing in the nearby area of Fishtown.
