I am writing this review in response to a woman who complained about a bird drinking from the pool. Several exotic (to me) birds descended into the shady and private pool area, standing beside the pool while I was relaxing by the pool. I found this to be charming. In fact, my husband and I felt like our stay at the Anna Maria Island Beach Resort was a precious piece of paradise that we often talk about and remember our stay there (April 2016) with the fondest of memories. Very comfortable beds. Private patio areas. A sandy path beckons guests to follow it to the beach, a very short distance away. Richard took my reservations and answered all my questions before I booked. He was very helpful. He was around if we needed him but didn't hover. We arrived earlier than expected, and Richard permitted us to check in early. He was very gracious. We loved it there and earnestly hope to go back some day.

Beautiful soft white sand that never burns your feet. Gentle rolling waves and clean, clear, fresh smelling water. A quick walk up to AMI beach Cafe for a cool drink from Tiki bar, lunch and live music. Great place to watch the sunset.♥️🌴🌞👙🍦🐢

My family stayed for a week In July.  We had 3 apts. We loved our week there. Pool was awesome, barbeque area was perfect!  Beach is right there! Cute bar and restaurant on the beach about 5 min walk. We would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff.

I visited here to witness a Baptism at the Beach. It was incredible there. The beach is awesome and clean and there were many other people at the Beach tonight.
