A great breakfast spot if you are in the mood to indulge! Our waitress Angela M. was excellent and friendly, she offered us complimentary beignets for our first visit that were absolutely delicious! This location has a nice locals feel to it and appeared to be very neat and clean. A wide variety of traditional breakfasts and sweet treats are offered as well as mimosas and crafted cold brew coffees! I chose a salted caramel cold brew paired with the apple fritter french toast!
Excitement turned into sheer horror. As we walked in we were excited as we saw delicious sounding menu items like Lemon Blueberry Poundcake French Toast and Apple Fritter French Toast. Once we ordered, it seemed like we were waiting for Christmas as the food was taking so long. As you wait you might be flabbergasted as you see the waitresses sitting down molesting the silverware as they wrap it by grabbing it from the parts you eat with.Caution to patron; you might want to bring your own silverware. And when the food finally came out, one by one, each missing its contents; Eggs coming without meat, meat coming without potatoes, waffles coming without syrup. After asking politely to send back the cold potatoes, the waitress walked back into the kitchen coming out .5 seconds later with the same exact plate. If you like your eggs doing a backstroke in oil, add that to your entree, if not please steer clear. Maybe make your own waffle and bring it because I think a child was cooking back there. Don’t forget the missing items that come with your food. By the time my chipotle honey whatever sauce came to the table it had been so long that the chicken had decomposed. Also ,the lemon blueberry pound cake french toast tasted like dish soap. Don’t bring your grandma with you as she might break her dentures trying to chew the sausage. If you don’t mind paying 2 different taxes for your disgrace of a food, come here. If not please continue looking.
Our server Angela was super friendly and sweet. The food came out quickly and it tasted good. The reason I give 4 stars is because of the greeters. They lack of basic customer skills. Everything else was good, restrooms were clean and equipped .The food tasted good and it was well presented.Food: 5/5
We generally enjoy eating at Another Broken Egg on our roads trips, this time our experience was not the same. Place is not clean, floors dirty, has strange smell, quality of the food was below average.Food: 1/5
Food definitely has a different flavor/taste to it. Top pancake on my daughters food was not done all the way. Sausage has a taste or uncertainty. Waitress was professional and nice. For me. Food was ok. First time in and probably will be my last. Overall, see how you feel about it.Recommended dishesBiscuits and Gravy, City Grits
Went for Mother’s Day and found new items on the menu not sure if it’s for all locations I only visited one in atl ga once. However I enjoyed how fast we were able to get a seat for four. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms clean. I loved parking around area on Sunday was free. The temperature was perfect inside not to door or hot. I had the key west pancakes. Everyone else tried waffles , French toast eggs and pancakes. I like the option of chicken sausage was a choice. This location is by the market so it was perfect downtown like area
The food was beautifully presented. But the service! I’d have come back if they served sandpaper on wonder bread for the service! Our waitress’s name was Cara and she was by far one of the BEST waitstaff I’ve experienced in years. She was knowledgeable and able to describe flavors and tastes based on regional preferences, and being from out of state I greatly appreciated this. She brought out a sample of the gravy to try so we could decide if the level of spice was too much or perfect. The genuine approach to making sure we loved our food and experience there was top notch! If you go to this location ask for Cara, you won’t be disappointed. Overall the food was delicious, the service wonderful! I’ll be back.
Our server Hailey was phenomenal. Her kind soul and personable demeanor made our brunch the best we’ve ever had. I’m going to ask for her every time!! She cared for our table and talked to us like we’ve known her for years! THANK YOU HAILEY! And Joshua the kitchen manager came out to personally make sure our food was going to be just right!!
My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant. We first tried this place on July 2, 2022 it was so good we went back on Sunday morning. Our waiter Jaden was was amazing he was very knowledgeable in explaining the menu because we had no idea on what we wanted to eat...our overall experience was great and we will definitely return.
This place is fantastic, friendly staff and great food. We were looking for somewhere to eat on our last day and it didn't disappoint. Tom, our server, was helpful and really friendly. The food was spot on, freshly made and absolutely delicious. My eyes were bigger than my belly but I still tried to eat as much of it as I could. I will definitely go back if we're ever in Charleston.
