They never answer the phone. Anytime I need to get information, I have to physically go there. Called 4 times today for scheduling dept and was on hold 15 minutes no one ever answered. Dr. Bite is great if only you could reach anyone it would be great. Very frustrated. Not Rudy, Margie wrote review.

The receptionist and nurse were great. They were friendly and helpful. The doctor I saw was awful. She wasn't friendly at all and was generally unprofessional. The wait time was okay. It turned out to be a very frustrating visit for me and a waste of $30.

This is a review for both clinics (the one on E. Palmdale Blvd and the one on 47th St East) My first contact with the staff at the clinic on 47th was very good. I didn’t wait long, the staff was very friendly and so was the doctor I saw. Except that he was supposed to have referred me a Neurologist. But a week after my visit when I called to follow up on the referral, I was told the doctor no longer worked for the clinic and that I would need to see another doctor. I was given an appointment for the next day (to be seen at the other-E Palmdale-clinic). This is where everything went downhill. When I showed up, the receptionist/registration clerk told me that since the doctor listed as my primary care physician with my insurance was not with that clinic, they really wouldn’t be able to do anything for me until my records listed them as the primary care and that my co-pay would be more than it should have been for a primary visit. When I told her that couldn’t be right because I have PPO insurance (meaning I can go to any location accepting my particular insurance) and showed her my insurance card, she responded by saying it’s the end of the month when insurances make changes to accounts, so it probably just hasn’t caught up with me yet. And that she even checked with her “supervisor” to make sure she had it read it correctly. I ended up canceling my appointment and leaving. 15 to 20 minutes later, I got a call from Joseph, the Office Manager (who, by the way, was very pleasant and accommodating), apologizing and saying that after looking more closely at my information that I could, in fact, be seen by them and that it would only cost my regular office visit co-pay; and that if I wanted, he would see what he could do to get me an appointment as soon as possible. Since I had already established care (with AVCC-at the 47th clinic) and didn’t want to have to start the process all over again, I said yes. He called me back and said he’d spoken with “the doctor” and they could get me in later that day. When I explained to him, that I was already at another appointment and probably wouldn’t be able to make the exact time given, he said it was no problem and that the doctor would see me when I got there. When I showed up, I was not seen by “the doctor”, but by a Nurse Practioner named “Mr. Charles” or something like that. Who was given absolutely no information about why I was there, including the 10-15 pages of medical tests results I had provided to them during my first visit at the 47th Ave clinic. I felt like Mr Charles had come into the “appointment” blind while I’d assumed my situation had been explained to him. This resulted in a breakdown in communication, with me looking to him to tell me what I needed to do to see a neurologist and get my disability claim completed and him looking to me to tell him what I needed from him. In the end, and after a very frustrating appointment, I was able to get the “referral”. But I could not, in good conscience, recommend the AVCC for anyone’s medical needs. There appears to be no communication between the two locations (although you can apparently be seen at either one), no one at the 47th St location seems to understand the disabibility process and when either location says something should not be a problem, I found it usually was.

This clinic is a run down alley clinic for drug attics. The staff is uneducated and Drs are worse not carting if you are dying they will make your appointments for 4 months later. It sucks that some people can only get medical and unable to afford insurance in our own country even tho we work full time and pay taxes that we get this horribe medical care. You are better off going to the Mexican witch doctor at the swap meet.
