Very bad service. Not only are the staff rough but also very direspectful. I had called twice to get some information not only was he (the staff member) talking to someone else whist on the line with me (disrespectful) but I also asked a question and he just clicked on me. Can’t say he didn’t hear me because I did asked twice and he didn’t f***ing care. Nice service you got there AV.

If i could leave a 0, i would. Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced in my entire lifetime. Their just gonna send you to the greenzone and keep you waoting for 10+ hours. I took a urine sample, and they came 2 hours later asking me if i had taken a sample. When i informed them that i had taken a sample way 2 hours before, he tells me they're going to examine it and walked away giving me no instructions. 30 minutes after that another lady called me and asked again had i left a sample. When i tell her shes the 3rd person to ask me and ask whats going on, she then informs me that they cannot locate my urine! I just peed again and this is where we're at in the process right now. It is 10:33pm, i got here at 2pm, and basically the beginning of exams has yet to be started!

Hospital is very outdated. Equipment is old and the staff has an Oh well attitude. Expect to wait for an extremely long time no matter what you're here for. Be weary of the cleanliness and knowledge of any staff memeber, rn or dr. The interior of the hospital is not only a reflection of the staff but the doctors and the work they perform as well. I suggest moving out of Antelope Valley altogether. There are better cities with much more modern and caring facilities. Beware you don't catch a staph infection here and check your medical bills and dispute any and all services they claim to provide with your insurance and let them handle the hospital.

I read many reviews before going in and to be honest yes I was scared because of what I read but due to my insurance it was my only option. I was there from 230pm to 10pm on a Thursday. I went into the ER with pain in my uterus, dizzy and pregnant, which I had just found out, sent to go to a hospital by my doctor, but didn't know myself since I still had a regular menstrual cycle. It was a long wait as so many people were there. After I checked in and my blood pressure, information, temp, height and weight was taken down I was told to go to the Green room. They offered a wheel chair and off I went. I was sitting there in pain but understood that some people were ahead of me and some were crying from pain which looked like they had it worse. Everyone has different pain tolerance. I noticed people arguing being inconsiderate for others about I came first but not all are getting called for the same things. Some need ultrasounds, some need IV's and some blood drawn, some might be in a worse than you are and other things. So you really have to pay attention what the person is being called for instead of arguing and disturbing others that have a headache and trying to get a little rest to ease their pain. So I waited and did in the mean time what I had to do to ease my pain because I was not the only one in that room. I was called to a curtain room, I spoke to the nurse and gave much details about what was happening. After I got blood drawn then to get an ultrasound. My tiny baby could not be found. I was later given the results of the ultrasound and bloodwork. I was told it could be an eptopic pregnancy. I was told to return in 48hrs to check my hcg again and if lower then it was eptopic. Yes I was worried but I knew this was the only way to figure out what was going on and were was my tiny baby since I now knew I was pregnant. I returned on Saturday at 1pm and it was not busy at the time (got packed later). Checked in same proccess and went to the Green room. Blood drawn, spoke to the nurse, told her this was my 48hrs checkup. After bloodwork coming back they noticed my hcg were lower. They send me to get an ultrasound. I was in there for a bit but I was glad. These nurses did not give up looking to see where my tiny baby was knowing that with my hcg levels low it most likely was eptopic. They knew they had to find it to prevent it from putting my life in danger later on. They found it and it was pretty hidden. I went back to the Green room where they prepared me for surgery. Maribel introduced herself and let me know that her shift was almost done but would be there for anything I needed. After she switched with travel Nurse Robert, which I called Mr Bob, and introduced him as taking over for her. He prepped my IV and other liquids needed for surgery. Dr Greer came in and introduced herself and explained to me and all my questions that I had before the surgery. She eased my fears. I was taken to the OR. Her team looked confident and ready to go. They also made sure if I had anymore questions to answer them. Part of my fallopian tube was removed and I was sad that I would not get to see my child even though it was not yet fully formed. In the end these nurses did not rest until they found what they needed, passed it on to the surgeons and saved my life. I was well taken care of by the recovery nurse. I admit I was so out of it from the anesthesia I don't remember her name. I was released @1am. They have a great team at this hospital. Working hard in this small environment with an over packed, feeling ill people like myself. The AV (my Lancaster town) needs another hospital to spread patients out and possibly go a bit faster for check-ins and other concerns people have. Maybe expansion or another hospital. Seeing all this I decided to be part of the solution and going to look into volunteering. Maybe this way I could help solve some of the issues. A suggestion for the green room would be a second television for patient names, maybe it will help be organized a bit more and relieve some stress in some people.
