The first time I ate here everything was perfect, but I have eaten here often enough to see how inconsistent the kitchen is. It's too bad, because when they get it right they really get it right. But when they get it wrong it can be really foul. I've eaten a perfect shrimp scampi here before and the shrimp practically melted in my mouth, but tonight the shrimp we're over cooked and tough. My husband had worse luck tonight. He ordered the chicken shortcake which was explained to him as a "deconstructed" chicken pot pie. But it was completely tasteless. About what you would expect if someone mixed flour and water into a gravy with no seasoning and then poured it over everything. He would have sent it back to the kitchen but he didn't want to make the evening unpleasant for our dinner companions. I did appreciate the early bird 4 course dinner deal, but surrounding a badly prepared dinner entree with multiple courses doesn't make it easier to swallow. They need to figure out how to operate their kitchen better, maybe fewer menu options would help. Good food is more important to me than number of choices. Until they get some consistency in the kitchen we will probably be exploring other places to celebrate our special occasions.

Wonderful dinner. We sat outside with beautiful views of the bay. We had the prawns for an appetizer, which were amazing. Then a cesar salad and halibut for dinner. Great selection of wines too. Exceptional service, beautiful scenery, very relaxing... a perfect night.

Only gave two stars because the view and the food are good. I would love to come here more often if it weren’t for the service I’ve received every time I’ve come! Each time it’s been painfully slow even when not busy, very minimal communication from waiters other than asking what we want to order, forgetting items, only providing decent service when about to drop off the bill probably in hopes of getting a good tip. Today, I made a request for a flatbread refill and the waiter comes back 15 mins later to say “I forgot”, waited another 5 for it to finally come. Not sure if it’s because I’m younger so I may not look like I’d tip as much but I think this will be the end of my meals here!

Our favorite nice restaurant in Bellingham. The food and service are reliably good, with in-season specials. They have an early bird 3-course dinner which is a great deal if you don't mind eating on the early side. The views of Bellingham Bay and the marina are spectacular. It's our favorite place to bring guests, they always leave impressed.

GREAT FOOD! there were 7 of us and we all thought the food we ordered was really good. Our waitress was really nice and attentive.
