What a lovely, lovely restaurant! Located right in the heart of Soho, Antique Garage has such great vibes and beautiful interiors. We had a wonderful server who made us laugh throughout the dinner and recommended the best dishes. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking, and the tuna could use some more seasoning, but still delicious. Perfect for a date night x
I was recommended this restaurant by my Turkish foodie coworker and I was not disappointed. From the rustic/antique interior to the excellent food taste and presentation, this restaurant absolutely lived up to the hype. I had the lamb shish kebab, it was a bit on the pricey side but it was definitely worth it. I will be back here again to try the other menu items
Came here on a weekend evening and ordered some hummus + the grill platter. Food was decent and with good portions although it didn’t stand out for me. I appreciated that they brought me some mint tea even though it wasn’t on the menu. Platter takes some time to arrive though so do plan around it!Food: 4/5
One of the best brunch places in New York. Their Turkish/Mediterranean style is very unique. Tried the Tribeca branch for New Year’s Eve. Wonderful experience! Definitely recommendedFood: 5/5
Pretty inside very nice vibe. Waiters very old school steakhouse. Attentive when around but forgot many basics…salt, pepper other condiments. Food was disappointing, says Mediterranean but the hummus was terrible and not plated well. The shrimp rolls were ok but a spicy mayo with fish roe was odd. Eggs were runny. The menu overall seemed more of a hodge podge which would have been fine but nothing we had was very good.
Great atmosphere with live music on a Saturday night. Surprisingly they had open seats and no line. The food was good but not as great as the space would make you believe. We shared the food family style, so I got to try quite a few different ones and I recommend the lamb skewer as it was the best option. The bread was also quite tasty. Would go back for the atmosphere.
Antique Garage is a fantastic a blend of traditional and contemporary flavors in a setting reminiscent of a quaint European bistro. Our family was immediately welcomed with warmth and friendliness, especially towards our children, making the ambiance inviting and homely. We started with hummus and chicken skewers, which were a delightful mix of creamy and savory. My wife’s choice of steak was succulent and well-seasoned, showcasing the chef’s skill. My main course, the spicy beef and pita, was flavorful and tender, although less spicy than expected, but still delicious. Every aspect of our dining experience was marked by attention to detail - from the elegantly plated dishes to the charming decor, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The only suggestion for improvement would be a bit more heat in the spicy beef to satisfy those who enjoy spicier flavors. In summary, a perfect blend of delectable food, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding service.
