This place is a hidden gem in downtown San Mateo. Antoine, the owner, is super friendly and easy to strike up a conversation. The fresh daily cookies are moist and soft that it easily falls apart in your mouth. Price is reasonable for well-baked cookie.
My go to cookies are cookie ‘n cream, toffee, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal chip. (Too bad he killed off the inception cookie (cookie within a cookie), since he felt the standard was sub-par to his other flavored cookies)
They also have “day old” cookies as well. They’re 5-assorted cookies boxed up. They’re just as good and usually to score those you’ll have to come in early. The “day old” usually sells out pretty quick.
I’ve been a long time customer. Every time I’m in the area I must pick up a few cookies.

Hands down the best cookies in the Bay Area! Cute store and the staff is amazing. Overall great spot. I promise that you won't regret it!

Soft, chewy, sweet, and delicious. I knew these cookies were good when I didn’t eat them for a couple of day and they didn’t go stale at all. I’ve tried pretty much all the flavors and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. My faves are the chocolate chip walnut, cookies and cream and the toffee one. 

Overall, I don’t know how else to describe them besides delicious. Do yourself a favor and get some.

Antoine's has the best cookies I have found in the area!! They are soft, fairly priced, and have a wide variety of flavors!! 

I went a little crazy and bought half a dozen for myself....plus two more...because I couldn't narrow it down to 6!!! I got cookies and cream, chocolate chip, dark chocolate, toffee, chocolate peanut butter, snickerdoodle, oatmeal chocolate chip...I could be missing one or two. 

It was so hard not to eat them all at once!! (My roommate couldn't contain herself and ate her half dozen all at once.)

I actually ordered from them about a year ago when they were online only. The cookies at the store are better than I remembered. 

I highly recommend Antoine's! Just keep in mind it's a small business so be patient. There was a line when I was there which gave me more time to choose more cookies! ;)
