I prefer Apex because they don't ask too many questions when you call for a pick up.  The drivers are considerate and punctual.  When you have to be to work on time, Apex is the one to call.

Needed to get to the hospital for a non-emergency, but still urgent matter. Driver took one look at my injured friend, locked the doors as we tried to get in, and drove away. Seriously uncool.

The young men who are the Apex drivers, are very courteous and well-mannered. However, the owner of Apex is unprofessional and without manners. Our train arrived almost 2 hours late into Flagstaff station, which was after 10pm when our hotel stopped their shuttle service. I had a larger vehicle requested ahead of time from Apex taxi to pick up our party of 5 and our 10+ pieces of luggage. We got off the train at same time as about 40 other people, which apparently overwhelmed all of the local taxi services. After our courteous Apex driver loaded all of us and our luggage into his vehicle, he could not get his vehicle to start. He called the Apex owner, who personally came out to train station to help along with one of his other drivers who came to our rescue. I thought the owner was going to take the other part of our party to our hotel, but the owner instead began to attend to the inoperable vehicle. I had to reach out to our hotel for help. They could not find a taxi company that was available right away, but ran outside the hotel when another taxi dropped off guests, and sent him to get us. The owner of Apex cussed out my husband when he realized half of our party was being helped by another taxi company.

Uncool, trying to charge me $10 just cuz they don't think it's worth the trip they make, I have a bad knee and walking in this cold weather isn't fun. You guys need to close down soon for being assholes 🖕

The young man picked me up, but then proceeded to take me the long route and didn't talk with me the whole time. By the time I finally got to my destination, he increased the charge by a dollar even though the meter showed the lower charge to be appropriate. So I gave him a low tip and decided I won't use them again which is a shame since I've used them for the last 2 years. Bad service, terrible driver and a lengthy car ride. No thanks. Pick another taxi service.
