I have been going to Aphrodite Salon for years and have been having my hair professionally cut & colored by Colleen Griffin, master stylist/colorist, even longer. There is no one else I would trust my hair to...ever! I am very particular when it comes to who styles my hair. Colleen earned my trust and my business from day one. She is amazing. Her experience and skill, her knowledge about hair health and fresh trends, her honesty ("Yes, Jeannie, that is definitely an adorable hair style... no Jeannie, it will definitely not work with your hair type! Let's try this instead!") and the comfortable, no attitude/ego setting of her lovely Portland salon can't be beat. There's a reason she's won Best of Portland (and other well-deserved awards) so often! Want a fantastic cut and color every time? Or just a stylish cut? Colleen of Aphrodite Salon is the best of the best. There is no one else that I would trust with my hair, ever. I’ve been seeing Colleen for nearly 10 years and have never had a cut, color or style that I didn’t love!  She takes great measures to listen and deliver on what my vision is every single time.  My most recent experience at Aphrodite salon was for my wedding hair trial. Colleen went above and beyond to take my vision from pictures and give me the real life hair of my dreams for my wedding day. She listens and asks questions to make sure you leave her chair with exactly what you want. Aphrodite salon is welcoming and clean. Colleen is always current with what is new and in style. She is passionate about what she does and I would recommend Aphrodite Salon to anyone.

I have been seeing Colleen for my cuts and colors for 7 years now. She always listens to what I want and makes sure I understand everything involved before doing it. I would highly recommend Aphrodite Salon!

Colleen cut and colored my hair and I loved it.  The best part... I went to a wedding and people kept say how nice my hair looked, so that made me happy!!!
