I gave this contractor around $10k back in December and even got a signed contract of what he would do.. here it is 5 months later and after being extremely patient and possibly the most understanding guy in the world.. my roof has not been replaced.

I have no materials, no promise of when it will be done and when I call it just goes to voice mail.

I have managed to get in contact with him about 3 times since Christmas and it is just one excuse after another.

I just want to warn everyone that you don't want to be scammed like I was.. run the other way as fast as you can. This guy comes across as the nicest man in the world and seems to know his roofing lingo yet he is nothing more than a hoodlum and that is probably being a little too nice.

I plan to go find his house or place of business and see if there is anything I can do if I talk to him directly. Unfortunately for him, I do have contacts and know lots of folks around here so I am launching an all out campaign to shut him down.

If you have been scammed by this guy or his company, please get on here and say so. There is power in numbers.

P.S. If the roofer is reading this and comes and takes care of my roof or gives me every cent of my money back, I will edit my review to let everyone know that it took a while but DID get done or it was settled in satisfactory terms.

Do not use this contractor!  He failed to complete our roof as agreed to.   He tore the guttering off and now has not replaced it, but left gagged edges and pieces exposed (downspouts). Went back on his word that we contracted him  to do.  We paid $7,500.00 and owe a remaining $1,000.+ but now he will not come back and finish the job. He wants an additional $1,700 and even though we were willing to pay more money he will not return our phone calls, always" in a meeting." We have waited around the house two Wednesday when they said they were going to start the guttering and they never showed up nor called. We have been VERY patience with him.  This has been dragging on since May 12th, 2009.  He is going to force us to take him to court and we don't want to do that.  He was very nice to deal with in the beginning, we even had wanted him to come do my parents house and rental property, but now will not recommend him for anyone.  I fear he may have scammed us out of our money!
Please don't get taken advantage of by this "nice man"! My husband, a retired firefighter did.
