Great camping there is not a lot of camping spots but it's perfect like that. The restrooms are really clean and so were the showers. The employees are really nice and the sandwiches sold at general store are pretty good.

Used to be a great place to keep your boat despite the older docks. New management has come in extremely aggressive. Pricing has increased by $1000 in the last 2 years, and it looks like it will increase another $500 by next year. You are required to pre-pay your slip starting 7 months in advance over 3 payments that are non refundable, and if a payment is late, they will charge you a late fee on a service that you are prepaying and have not even used yet. It was a hard to review to write as I have been a customer of the Marina and the Camping grounds for the past 15 years....

From the moment we arrived here at Apple Island, we've had a very pleasant experience. The office staff was super-friendly, and we had an escort to our site..always appreciated. The amenities here are very nice, Bath houses are nice and clean. Lots of activities for children. All-in-all, highly recommend this resort!

We always enjoy our visit to Apple Island. We have come once yearly for the past 7 years and we have stayed for a weekend or a whole week. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Bathhouses are always clean. Seasonal residents are friendly. Great location, beautiful views. We have golfed and rented a pontoon boat many times, and both are enjoyable.

Great golf course. Very short, but fun to spend an afternoon on. Pro shop staff was a little spacey and stand off-ish, but grounds crew were great to chat with while waiting to tee off. Members show up in the afternoon slowing play down A LOT. Weather was beautiful so no complaints. Just expect to be slowed down by the senial members.
