Thank you, Dan, for the excellent training you provided at my workplace this June. I’m a chemical engineer with a background in process safety and have attended a few fire extinguisher trainings hosted by our office in the past. I attended the training thinking I’d be brushing up on an existing skillset but I was pleasantly surprised to learn and experience several new things. From the mnemonic tip on how to easily remember application for the different extinguisher types A=Ashes, etc. to practical knowledge on selecting the appropriate size and quality extinguisher for different household applications… all the classroom teaching was spot on. The demonstrations went above and beyond the typical “light the pan on fire and practice putting it out” exercise. I enjoyed seeing and hearing the simulation of the gas leak erupting into a mega fireball. Actually seeing the appropriate way to cover a burning pot will certainly protect people from injury and protect property from damage. All this and more condensed into an efficient and engaging presentation! I could tell Dan is truly passionate about promoting fire safety and wasn’t just using this opportunity as a glorified sales pitch. I am so happy to support this small local business! I would recommend this to any of my friends and family.
We had excellent experience with CPR/First Aid training. It was very easy and quick to get ahold of them and schedule our training, and the training itself was very good- he reinforced the ideas very well and allowed ample time for hands-on training and questions. We would definitely use them for our CPR training needs again!
Great class! I have done a couple different CPR/ first aid class's and the group agreed this one was great. Very knowledgeable, personal, and upbeat teacher. Spoke to us and not above us. I actually felt i learned exactly what to do and what my responsibilities are in case of emergency. highly recommend!
Dan the owner was very friendly and informational and Dawn in the office was great to work with to get it all planned out for a training day! Fantastic training on Basic First Aid, CPR Cert, AED, and Obstruction of airways. Steve was absolutely wonderful as a training and answered every question and went above and beyond to provide us tips and first aid that may apply more to our facility in needs. High recommended.
Instructor Steve came to our office to teach a CPR/AED and First Aid Training class. It was a GREAT class! A lot of information laid out so we could easily retain it. After class we all felt like we could confidently try to save someone's life if the situation were to present itself. I recommend this class for every workplace!
Our dental office was lucky enough to get Steve Turner as our CPR instructor for re-certification. He made the COVID-19 guidelines possible to get everyone trained. Excellent class and everyone felt like we learned something new from him. Would highly recommend First Response Inc.
Great communication from the start, class was taught very well.i have been taking cpr and first aid for over 20 years for my business and this was the best style of teaching so far. Great personal examples, very encouraging, kept everyone engaged. Definitely will use again in the future!
