Least time i dined here was 2 years ago, and I gave them 2 stars for to the mediocre food. Today was a totally different experience. The food has Vastly Improved. Everything was really good, except they used a minute rice style rice instead of "real" rice in the shrimp wonton (strips) stir fry. The 6 oz steak was actually cooked to medium rare as requested, and was pretty darn good, including a nice size baked potato and fresh green beans. The spinach and artichoke dip appetizer was ok and nothing to rave about. The server was adequate and responsive to questions and needs. We did have a miscommunication about the side dishes, which he corrected right away. They have happy hour drink prices on certain beverages all day long. I'll be back to try out some of their other new offerings.

This Applebee's is very upscale, classier, and extremely clean compared so some other locations I've been too. Food and drink experience is the same as to be expected. We eat at the bar and the two female bartenders were very nice and quick to replenish our drinks.

I ordered a burger and baked potato to go at 8PM when the place was slow.  Manager was standing there at the counter and "confirmed" everything in the order was present.  I take order home and find naked burger and dry potato with nothing else.    Save your money. You are better off with fast food.

Great service in the three locations I frequent. The food is always fresh and good. Once they overcooked a steak. I was just going to eat it and the waiter noticed me picking at it I guess. He asked, so I told him. Within minutes I had a entire new plate and they didn't charge me at all. 
Can't beat that! One chain that doesn't feel like it.

Of all the Applebee's we have been to in the Austin area, this one is our favorite or rather it used to be...this visit was a bit disappointing but no where near as much as the locations in Austin!

We come here time to time for their comfort type food and drinks. This visit we ordered:

BOURBON STREET CHICKEN + SHRIMP - Chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked. The shrimp - a bit skimpy in my opinion and a tad bit over cooked. There was supposed to be potatoes in this dish - there was a couple pieces -_- . For the price, I expected more.

CLUBHOUSE GRILLE - my husband ordered this with fries and he tore into it! He absolutely loves this sandwich - its loaded and filling for sure and he loves the flavor combination. He is of course always a fan of their french fries here.

We will be returning here because we love the menu selection, we are hoping that our next visit is a bit better.
