My family have been going to Applebee's for years and have always had good service and food. Tonight we walked in and it was not that busy.  We had our grandchildren with us. I asked for the empty booth, as anyone with children can attest to, it's easier to corral them with a booth. The host said that that booth was for parties of 6 and sat us at a 4 person table. He promptly seated two ladies in the 6 person booth. They came into the restaurant right behind us and they greeted each other like they were best friends. I waited but nobody ever joined them. It was so obvious that I was irritated for the entire meal. I think we'll be finding a different restaurant for a while. So rude.

Food and service was excellent as usual. Scott the Manager always greets us personally. Jessie used to be our favorite, but she has recently resigned and we will miss her. Carla did a great job stepping up to Jessie's standards.

Just ate at the Bangor Maine location. For the most part the food was good. However the server Jayme G. Was absolutely awful. We saw her very little and was always waiting around trying to get her or anyone's attention. No waitress should come to a table chewing food. By far the worst service I have ever had. We spent over an hour from start of service to getting our receipt. To my knowledge we were her only table and let's say it's a good thing because she couldn't even handle a table of three. I will not be in any rush to come sit down at this location anytime soon.

Food is good and the service is good too! The only time I have had issues is with the online ordering. I wish Applebees would get rid of it. I spent close to 60 bucks one night on meals and all of it was wrong. Missing items and such. Second time, it happened again. Management told me their online ordering system is terrible and to call in orders.

Now, I just go in and eat or call in an order if I need to. Their food and service when they get it right makes up for the online debacle.

The server Kristina was awesome.  Very attentive.  Food was delicious.  The steak I had didn't need a sharp knife it was so tender. I have been at this restaurant several times and never had a bad meal. If you want great food and awesome service please go.
