Service was ridiculously slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Got desert with no spoons. The only beauty in today's visit was my server. Probably more beautiful on the inside than the exterior and she is very attractive looking

I usually order take out (ribs and fries) when I come to Applebee's so its been awhile since I have sat down and ate here. The last time was some years ago; the experience was way different. I had to find a server after I seated myself cause no one was around. The service was mediocre at best, the food was "ugh" didn't even finish. I got a Classic burger with cheese, bacon and fries. I could have made this in my kitchen and it would have tasted 10x better.

Applebee's is one of my favorite places for dinner in rocky mount, depending on the night and time. It can get a bit loud on weekend nights. Beyond that, great service and food!

Our food was good. I had a sirloin stir fry and my wife had the chicken mac and cheese something. Waitress was friendly and did a good job. The restaurant itself just looks old inside. It was probably about as clean as they can get it in its current state, but just kind of felt dirty. There was 2 old guys at the bar that were pretty loud and sitting with a waitress who was being rubbed up and down by one of the guys. Get a room already. 
I like Applebee's, but will not go back to this location.

The bartender (caucasian female, day shift, name tag so dirty you can't read it) was incredibly rude, spoke very shortly with me, and I got the feeling was being very passive-aggressive. I got no attention, had to raise my hand for service multiple times and the place is less than halfway full. I never review restaurants or the people handling my food, they have a tough job and I know I couldn't do it, but this woman takes the cake. Maybe she had an awful day, idk, but IMO should not be in a customer service position. Never had such a bitchy experience. I will not be back.
