My family and I used to eat here often, but since the Leavenworth location went from being a corporate location to a franchise, the quality of food and service has drastically declined. The napkins went from cloth to generic brown paper. The silverware went from restaurant quality to generic Walmart silverware. Tonight was the worst experience yet.
We arrived and stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. I guess it didn't matter that there were 3 different hostesses. Once we were finally shown to a table, it was another 15 minutes before anyone showed up to take our drink order. They weren't even that busy. At least 1/3 of their tables were unoccupied and there was no wait. Once we finally got our food, over 30 minutes later, my dish was not delivered as advertised. I ordered the Bourbon Street Steak, like I have a hundred times at dozens of locations all over the country. It's supposed to be a 8oz sirloin, blackened with Cajun spices and served on a sizzling iron skillet with sauteed mushrooms and onions, and crispy seasoned red skin potatoes. What I actually was served were two 4oz sirloins with barely any seasoning, mushrooms and onions that were still mostly raw, and unseasoned undercooked red skinned potatoes. 
I'm not one of those guys that yells at and belittles the wait staff. I know it's not their fault. I don't demand to see a manager and refuse to pay for my food. I ate the food I was served, paid for it, and still tipped my waiter 15%. What I will do is never bring my family to the Leavenworth Applebee's again.

My husband and I have been to this location 4 times, last night will be the last. Each time, our visit gets more and more disappointing. The food is going down hill on quality and management is very poor. My poor husband's food wasn't cooked properly and the cooks forgot to remove the cheese wrapper from his food. When it was brought to the attention of the cooks and manager, they wouldn't even apologize or offer to make anything better. And now my husband is sick and missing a day of work due to food poisoning. We had a small infant, less than 1 year, at the table and the 2 different people who delivered the food set multiple hot plates directly in front of the baby. Both my hisband and I had to burn our hands to immediately move them out of the baby's reach. The lady who delivered our drinks accidentally tipped it but didn't bother to offer to replace it. We spent $100 on uncooked food, mediocre service, and poor treatment as well as sickness. It wouldn't of been so bad if the management would of atleast apologized for the incident but instead she refused to look my husband in the eye and gave me dirty looks when we left. I don't recommend ANYBODY going to this location unless you want to spend a day in the bathroom sick.

I used to love Applebee's my girlfriend and I came in here once about 3 months ago and it was awesome food took a little longer than I thought to be delivered but ever since then we've had horrendous service, a manager that couldn't care less about our opinions. But my final straw was last night when eating my dinner I found a prep paper for either cheese or meat or something in my burger I couldn't finish my meal just because of it. Top it all off later that evening a few hours after eating or trying to eat at this establishment I begin puking among other things to the point that I believe It was food plaining  from the establishment...... saddens me

Always delicious, always great service. It was nice to see the manager running the food out to the tables. That's great leadership. :)
