Our visit (10 PM on 9/17/17) will certainly not be forgotten. We had terrible service from the onset. We should have left, but had a long day traveling and thought Applebee's to be a safe spot for decent food/service. Drinks took 10/15 minutes, app another 20 minutes...at this point we had flagged down two hosts/servers to inquire on food. Another 15 minutes passed and we asked for Manager. She was even more unhelpful. We cancelled our entree orders as we were 45 minutes in with no sign of server (he left for the night before apps came out...we where never told, nor had an alternate server approach our table). Manager then attempted to charge for entrees while adding a credit. Keep in mind, this location was not busy...just poorly managed/run. We ended up at In-N-Out Burger...by far, a better alternative...

Taking the lift we were greeted straight away by a polite yet down to earth man who got us a great table with a view of the wharf at sunset. He apologised that there wasn't any better seeing available which while felt was genuine as there was literally nothing better available. We had a waitress over with a minute to get us a drink and explain how they worked. Our meals didn't take long to arrive, they were fresh and hot and just like we requested. Getting up to take photos the staff were happy to help and took a photo for us. They moved out of your way walking through the restaurant and made you feel that you were the priority - a small gesture that went a long way! Drinks were refilled as soon as they were emptied. My only gripe is that they kept using new cups and left the old ones on the table. Perhaps their way at hinting I need to diet?? Just use the same cup. I won't be offended!! Thanks for an above average experience!! Will be returning again for sure.

We went to eat for our anniversary today & only ended up with a bad experience. I don't blame our server for anything but it's the manager & the cooks. After waiting an hour for nothing & seeing new tables get their food first, we decided to leave hungry. I appreciate our waiter for offering to give discounts & getting a Manger to speak with us. Although all she said was "you need somethin?" I didn't realize that she came to talk to me about the long wait because in no way in hell did she sound sincere or apologetic. Also They didn't bring out my food or app just because the cook messed up on one order.

Like any other apple bees. Bar area and normal Apple bees menu. Take note that because it's in San Francisco menu items are about $4 more. The restaurant is located up stairs and clearly visible. Window seats look out onto the pier and is especially nice at night.

Didn't enjoy their food. Very expensive and average in taste. The cocktails were good though.
