The food is pretty good, wait staff has been friendly. The problem largely appears to be management. On average I see two wait staff in the restaurant, which leads to waits to be seated and place orders. I’m normally happy to put up with it because it’s not their fault. Tonight though I went in and stood for a few minutes waiting to be seated (only four occupied tables) There was a waitress nearby chatting with a table and at least four others around. After five minutes I was acknowledged by the waitress who felt sharing her personal life was more important than doing her job. I continued to wait, and wait, and eventually turned and walked out and went to Macados, where I was seated and had drinks quicker than I was noticed here. That’s not bad management, just poor employees.

The Applebee's here was pretty good. As with previous times I have visited, the servers are always nice and the foodnis good. The BBQ wanton tacos are good. Other than that, I think what could boost this to 5 stars is having larger pasta portions. They always seem like an appetizer serving than a meal.

Horrible place. After being seated we had to wait 15 minutes before our waiter took our drink orders. It wasn't the "busy" time of day. We were seated at 2:05pm on a Sunday. After the waiter returned with our waters, I notice I have something black floating in my water. Then I look at my husband's water and he had something floating in his water as well. But it didn't look like the floating thing that was in my water. We show the waiter both waters. He goes into detail about how they have a new dishwashing system and nobody knows how to change the water in it. He takes our glasses and says he'll go hand wash them. He returns with our "new" waters. My husband finds a hair on the side of the glass. It looks like a dog hair. He shows the waiter. The waiter reaches and wipes the hair from the glass. That's right. Then he acted like he should still drink from that same glass which had a hair on it. Disgusting! !!!!!! Management is just as bad.

It has usually been empty when I've gone there, when you are seated everything is sticky, tables chairs, walls, even the floor, and it smells like rancid oil; the service sucks, they mix your food and if you get an awesome waitress you will still wait because she is working half of the restaurant, or you get a waitress that never comes and it's by the kitchen area on her phone and chatting... I have lived in the area for 6 yrs and I have gone two or three times a year, mostly different times and it's always the same disappointment...

Good food, clean, neat. Standard Applebees fare as you would expect from this chain restaurant with friendly staff, also quite competent.
