Words of warning from someone who built with Pulte. 1. Even if you intend to use them for financing or insurance, get an independent quote. Keeps them honest on rates and terms. 2. If it happens on a phone call, it did not happen. Get everything in writing. Email will suffice. 3. If you ask for a timeline of events, you'll get one in a couple weeks. It will always be a couple weeks. Even 2 years later it is still a couple weeks. 4. When trouble happens, someone else did it. They like to blame the city when the city is trying to protect you, the person owning the house. For everything else there's subcontractors. 5. They will withhold documents you need if you attempt to use an independent title company. They laws just state they have to collect them, not that they have to share them.  All in all they are decent layouts built by the cheapest labor possible who are run at a breakneck pace, while the company who directs them attempts to loop you into as many of their own companies as possible so they can keep as many dollars to themselves and make their shareholders as big of a return as possible.  If you really love the layout that much, go for it. If you don't, build with someone else. There's plenty of other neighborhoods going in.

Pulte homes are usually in a nice area however the company stacks trades on top of eachother and rushes through the builds. As a result, the attention to fine detail isn't there and as a result... the customer is rarely 100% satisfied. Try Lombardo or Cranbrook if your life plans involve building your forever home.
