Arby's

Story

Since we opened our first restaurant in Boardman, OH, in 1964, we’ve been serving quality meats on handcrafted sandwiches. We call this transformation from a cut of meat to a delicious sandwich “Meatcraft™”, and our dedication to Meatcraft™ informs every decision we make. From the sandwiches we serve to our curly fries, shakes and sides, everything we do is in service to the meats. It’s why we get to work every morning at 8 a.m. even though we don't open until 11. Good food takes time to prepare, and we’re happy to put in the time to make your meal great.

So I dislike coming to this restaurant for one big reason. The customer service always sucks. However I work for a group service program that takes individuals with intellectual disabilities into the community and often Arby’s comes up as a choice they make. The manager in particular, you will know her when you hear her, is very rude and unprofessional. She’s been there for awhile and is always yelling at employees, acts very annoyed everytime you try to interact with her and ask questions, and won’t own up to her mistakes. My final tipping point was our last visit with our individuals. One of my staff asked them for a fork for one of our individuals who had to use a fork, and she rolled her eyes and acted like it was a problem. Then came my situation. I saw 2 people before me order salads, I saw her with a head of lettuce in her hand in the back right after. I went up to place my order and asked for a salad with chicken and was refused. The guy said we are not serving anymore salads cause we are too busy and our prep guy didn’t come in. Again she had a head of lettuce in her hand. Whatever though, I’m working with individuals so I didn’t want to argue. I asked for Buffalo chicken strips, which took awhile to get. Mind you I got them and they were fresh and hot, so hot I couldn’t touch them at first and they were covered with too much sauce. So I went and asked for a fork and manager got snappy and said “What didn’t I already put a fork in their? I never forget forks, I always put them in.” Rolling her eyes she got me a fork. I also asked for ranch and she said it’s already in the bag. I actually wanted a second one cause I knew one wasn’t going to be enough but again I didn’t want to be confrontational like her. Another complaint is how impatient she is. My individuals take time to do stuff, meanwhile she’s screaming out their orders, and not giving any of them a chance to get up to counter before she keeps screaming out the number and getting impatient. Customer service here is seriously lacking

The service here is absolute garbage. Not only do I always sit in line for AT LEAST 15 minutes, the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. Let me tell you, you will know her when you see her. I don’t know how someone so rude could hold a management position. If she worried about the cleanliness of her restaurant as much as she worries about arguing with customers maybe she would do better. I love Arby’s and don’t mind the price but she makes the whole experience disgusting. Maybe when they get rid of her I can consider going back.

Do not stop here, bad food. Employees on there phones and no help. Sauce overload on both sandwiches, fries one giant clump.

Taste food. I always go for the roast beef and curly fries. Something different.

We pulled up to the drive thru @ 9:30pm and we were told that they were out of fish, chicken, curly fries and some specialty breads. We order 2 beef and cheddar sandwiches. One with extra cheese. We pay for the food. Obviously the employees wanted us to leave. We really should have. Lol The 2 sandwiches came after waiting for 10 minutes. The girl handed us the bag, said thank you and shut the window. We needed Arby's sauce so we knocked on the window and we're ignored for 5 minutes. The drive thru girl was standing 15 feet from the window. If she wasn't ignoring us, her surrounding awareness is non-existent. We should have just left the sandwiches. Both of us got a mild case of food poisoning. Everytime I've been to this Arby's it's been empty but this time is the first time I got sick. I do not recommend eating here at all.
