Story

Archie Garner worked for Hough Bakeries for 25 years as a pastry chef and baker. After decades of business throughout the greater Cleveland area and beyond, Hough Bakeries closed its doors in August of 1992. Archie set out to fulfill his dream of owning his own bakery, and after two years, established Archie's Lakeshore Bakery. For 21 years, Archie has produced for the masses throughout Cleveland and beyond. Over the years, he has brought back memories of the older generation, and created new memories for today's generation. Join our family in reviving one of Cleveland's greatest treasures, Hough Bakeries.

Mission

To revive one of Cleveland’s greatest treasures, Hough Bakery, and revitalize the memories and traditions for steadfast customers as well as cultivating a new generation of customers. We strive to exemplify outstanding customer service and satisfaction in a family oriented atmosphere while building prosperous relationships through the homemade quality of our craft and heart. We demonstrate the likeness and love of Jesus Christ in every aspect of our business.

We specialize in special orders only for all-occasion cakes and we produce other Hough favorites on a seasonal basis.
