Really fair buy out on my gold and very friendly, even offered to stay open if I was running later than the shops closing time.  I wouldn't sell anywhere else.  It's hard enough to let go of old family things but add insult to injury when you have other places trying to make a huge cut off of YOUR gold!  So happy I found this shop.

Went to Arianna's for the first time today and could find one thing negative about this place and the owner. The location is a bit hard to see even though it's off Ritchie Hwy. But I will tell you this place is beyond worth your efforts and even if this place was hidden back in the woods I would make the trip in the future. The owner and operator was on hand when I entered the store to greet his customers. He made me and my friend feel like we were valued, because we were indeed that. The man in charge here showed us the place to buy and sell gold from now on is right here. Now that I know where this is I will not shop at another gold store around. Selling a few pieces of old gold jewelry we got beyond top notch value and service. The owner was knowledgeable, kind, and generous. He picked through what he wanted to buy, told us why, then gave us a better price then it was worth. Top notch attitude, top notch prices, and easy access to the shop. Keep it up Arianna's, you made my day. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

I had called about 5 weeks before, and he said he pays $10 under spot, and his website says he pays an extra $35 if he buys over $150 of gold. I went there just before Thanksgiving and he said he would pay 5 PERCENT UNDER spot, whether collectible or scrap, and said the extra $35 is not for gold with Certificate of Authenticity. There was no mention of that exclusion on his website. And he offered me $10 for the scrap gold I had.

The owner was friendly and explained that his prices were low because he needed quick turnover and he felt that prices would fall more likely than go up in the near future.

 I sold the scrap gold for $21.84 somewhere else (Both places said it was .7 dwt of 14kt gold). I also sold the gold bar for $5 OVER spot because this other place I went to felt that the collectible gold was more valuable than scrap gold.

 So $21.84 vs $10, $1246 vs $1177, telling me $10 under spot vs 5% under spot when I get there, and false/misleading statement on the website regarding the extra $35 are all reasons why I rate this business poorly.
(I went to both places within a 2 hr time period.  The difference in the spot price was only $2)
