I applied for legal aid to help remove 5 children who have no home, clothes, shoes, bed, or food to speak of. I'd snatch them from there mother now if I knew where she had the kids at this moment, anyways  I called the hotline and was told this was not a priority that CPS should get involved, we have tried that route and CPS has done nothing. Then I called the hotline manager after the way I was spoken to and that was a complete waste of my time. Two of the kids are currently injured and when I explained (partially as no one would let me finish speaking before cutting me off) these issues and concerns I was informed the only way they would help me is if the kids were abused physically  or sexually by the other parent or if I had them in my house for 90 days. This place in an absolute joke. When children aren't a priority in a situation such as this and drug dealers are there is an issue with our system.

Don't  get Dustin Duke. Get someone new and fresh that actually want to help people and like black people. Mrs. Smith is about the best one in there and actually wants to help people. It's sad they made Dustin duke a manager and his boss Mrs. Carter sucks if you request a different lawyer she's know help

After sharing my opinion and experience dealing with one of the probono attorneys they got for my collection case,They punished me by cancelling my services. The staff is very cold and cruel dealing with clients.
