I need to start this review by saying that I have no relation to the owners, although I kind of wish I did! Ha! We do share the beautiful Portuguese family name, Morais, however. Our families are from completely different parts of Portugal, so more than likely we're not related. I came upon this tasting room while on a work trip this week. Being from San Diego, I wasn't too familiar with this part of Virginia. I googled nearby wineries and out popped, Morais Vineyards and Winery! I was intrigued as we share the family name! That never happens to me! I was bummed to find out that the winery didn't open until the weekend and I would no longer be in town. Upon more investigation, I found Aroma Tasting Room, owned by the Morais family! I made it out to Aroma as soon as I could! My friend and I were warmly greeted by Lisa. We had a deluxe tasting...you can't beat 12 tastings, a pairing plate and a souvenir wine glass for $17! Here's the kicker though, ALL of the wines we sampled were scrumptious! All well balanced and flavorful! I'm not saying that because each bottle had my last name on it! My friend loved them too! The pairings offered were perfect and I can't say enough about how friendly and attentive Lisa was! We felt so at ease! The establishment is elegantly decorated, capturing old and new world vibes divinely! I took home as many bottles as possible and I know I would make the cross-country trip just to visit Aroma and also the Morais Winery in Bealeton! Obrigada, Lisa, Ashley and the Morais Family!!!

Great wine selection! Specially the sweet wines! The Port wine and cherry wine are amazing! Also the wines are less expensive and better quality than many wineries around the area. If you do the deluxe tasting they give you a nice plate with cheeses, deli, crackers and chocolate to do the pairing. It is awesome to have such a nice wine tasting shop close to us.

Such an awesome spot. Wine is fantastic and the tasting is a great deal. Love this place.

Aroma is a terrific place. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere and ambience is very nice. I would recommend it to anyone.
